Is a personal chef right for you?

"We're Eatin' Real Good...you don't have your own personal chef yet?  What's keeping you? There's life after takeout." - Forbes,
"Personal Chefs are not just for the rich anymore"  -  Newsweek
"Two Incomes and Too Busy to Cook?  Hiring a personal chef for your family costs less than you might think."
- Kiplingers Personal  Finance Magazine
"Mom may not be doing the cooking, but homemade meals may be coming back into vogue -- for families where both parents work and the children have soccer and dance lessons; for busy single
professionals; for retirees who can't or no longer want to cook for themselves; for those with dietary restrictions; or for those trying to lose weight free from the temptations found in cruising the
supermarket aisles. Even those tired of waiting in line for a seat in a restaurant or worried about how much fat the meal contains are
hiring culinary professionals to cook in their homes."
-  New York Times, January 2006

Times are changing...ten years ago only 1,000 families used a personal chef, and today that number has jumped to 100,000, according to the United States Personal Chef Association.  It is no surprise that there is little time and sometimes no desire to cook, but at the same time, we are fussier about what we eat.  Accommodating personal requirements is matter of fact for a personal chef.
As a personal chef,  I provide a number of culinary services for my clients.  I may be contracted to go into their home and prepare and serve either a very special, elegant, and intimate Birthday dinner for 4, or a sit down family dinner, an Anniversary party for 20, or even prepare and serve hors d'ouvres for a
Christmas time cocktail party.  I provide a questionnaire for my clients to indicate their preferences, food allergies, etc., and design menus for them accordingly. The greater part of what I do, is preparing dinner entrees in the clients home, that can be refrigerated, or frozen for later use.  I have created a standard menu, and I update the menu frequently, always trying something new, and I have tailored the menu so that you may order a little, or a lot of what you select, which includes appetizers, soups, salads,
and desserts.  I will be happy to discuss my complete menu, and the options that are available to you.
